These Terms and Conditions govern earning of points for use in the CSA Program. Earn and use of points is also governed by our Terms of Service (the “Terms of Service”), Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”), and any promotion rules and/or terms and conditions (the “Official Rules”), and such Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Official Rules are hereby incorporated in their entirety into these Terms and Conditions by reference. In case of a conflict between the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Official Rules, and/or these Terms and Conditions, the Terms of Service shall govern. Links to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Official Rules are available on the CSA Platform.
To participate, the User must have a CSA Enterprise account sponsored by their employer or the User must have a CSA Free or CSA Premium account. A complete description of each type of account is available in the Terms of Service.
Scope Zero reserves the right to modify or terminate earning of points at any time, without prior notice. Any changes to point earning will be incorporated into revised Terms and Conditions that will be available on the CSA Platform. In the event of termination, Users will have thirty (30) days from the date of notification of termination to redeem any remaining points.
Points may be used for entering sweepstakes, contests, or other promotions offered by Scope Zero, as well as for other purposes which Scope Zero may offer from time to time. Additionally, CSA Enterprise Users may have additional opportunities to use points provided by their employer.
How to Earn Points:
1. Complete Onboarding. A User may earn one hundred (100) points for completing mandatory onboarding questions on the Home and Transportation pages. These points can only be earned once.
2. Take Daily Lightning Round. A User may earn two (2) points each time they complete the daily lightning round quiz, and they earn another two (2) points for a correct answer. There is one (1) lightning round per day and one (1) question per lightning round.
3. Reach 10-Day Lightning Round Streak. A User may earn ten (10) points for Daily Lightning Round completion streaks at every multiple of ten (10), excluding multiples of fifty (50) and one hundred (100).
4. Reach 50-Day Lightning Round Streak. A User may earn fifty (50) points for Daily Lightning Round completion streaks at every multiple of fifty (50), excluding multiples of one hundred (100).
5. Reach 100-Day Lightning Round Streak. A User may earn one hundred (100) points for Daily Lightning Round completion streaks at every multiple of one hundred (100).
6. Complete Power-Up Challenge. A User may earn twelve (12) points for each Power-Up Challenge section that is completed. Points are halved for Power-Up Challenges that are completed beyond the due date.
7. Complete Power-Up Challenge Exam. A User may earn twelve (12) points each time they complete a Power-Up Challenge exam, and they earn another four (4) points for each correct answer. Points are halved for courses that are completed beyond the due date.
8. Watch Power Talk. A User may earn one hundred and sixty (160) points for watching a Power Talk webinar live. Points are halved if the recording is watched instead of watching the live webinar.
9. Attend Home Concierge Session. A User may earn five hundred (500) points each time they attend a home concierge session, for up to one (1) call per calendar year. Home Concierge sessions are not available for CSA Free users. CSA Free Users may claim the full five hundred (500) available points by submitting a mail-in claim as described below.
10. Invite a Friend. A User may earn five hundred (500) points for referring another individual to sign up for a CSA program. Each individual that is referred by the User will receive a referral link. The individual must complete onboarding for their new CSA account for the referrer to receive the corresponding points. The User may only refer persons with whom they have an existing relationship. The User may earn these points only five (5) times per calendar year.
11. Sign Up with an Invitation Link. A User may earn one hundred (100) points by signing up with a referral link from an existing User. These points are earned upon completion of onboarding and can only be earned once.
12. Refer a Company. A User may earn points for referring a company to offer a CSA program to their employees. To refer a company, the User must fill out the “Refer a Company” form in their CSA account. Scope Zero will then notify the User via email whether or not the company is an eligible referral within five (5) business days. The User must then introduce Scope Zero to the company via email within five (5) business days. Once this referral takes place, the User will receive one thousand (1,000) points (these points can only be earned a maximum of five (5) times per calendar year). If the company referred signs a deal to offer the CSA to their employees within twelve (12) months of the email introduction, the User will earn an additional fifty thousand (50,000) points (these points can only be earned a maximum of one (1) time per calendar year). The User may only refer companies with whom they have an existing relationship.
For CSA Free Users:
Halved Points. Except as otherwise noted above, points are halved for CSA Free Users (refer to mail-in option). This doesn’t apply to the following:
1. Complete Onboarding. A User may earn one hundred (100) points for completing mandatory onboarding questions on the Home and Transportation pages. These points can only be earned once.
11. Sign Up with an Invitation Link. A User may earn one hundred (100) points by signing up with a referral link from an existing User. These points can only be earned once.
To get a) the other half of the points for participating in a point earning activity without being a CSA Premium User or CSA Enterprise User or b) to get full points for #9 (Attend Home Concierge Session), a CSA Free User must send a handprinted 3 x 5 piece of paper with their full name, email address, complete mailing address (including city, state and zip code), and telephone number, along with the name of the point earning activity they are asking for the points for, e.g. “Watch Power Talk” and mail the card with first class postage affixed to: Scope Zero Points, PO Box 641214, San Francisco, CA 94164. Limit one (1) request per outer mailing envelope. If requesting the other half of points, a User must earn the first half of the points before they request the second half of the points. Same limits apply to requests as apply to point earning activity. No copies, facsimiles, or mechanical reproductions will be accepted. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, illegible or postage due mail. Points requested by mail will automatically be added to the requestor’s CSA program account within 5-10 business days of Scope Zero’s receipt of the request.
From time to time, Scope Zero may offer additional opportunities to earn points. Such additional opportunities may be subject to separate terms and conditions or will be added to these Terms and Conditions.
